Merrily Listing Along...

USAToday contributes a new holiday/best-of list for the younger readers.

Jacqueline Blais names her favorite picture books for 2005. There are classics (a new edition of The Little Engine That Could with illustrations by Loren Long), newly found "gems" (Don Freeman's Earl the Squirrel), and some recent titles including Mini Grey's Traction Man Was Here! and Marla Frazee's Santa Claus: The World's Number One Toy Expert.

Also, take a look at Camille's wonderful list of Pearl Harbor books at BookMoot.
