Goodness. Still more of the season's best books, this time from the Guardian.
Geraldine Bedell recommends her favorite novels of the season, including Frank Cottrell Boyce's Framed and David Almond's Clay. Both novels are forthcoming in the States in 2006. Georgia Byng's Molly Moon's Hypnotic Time Travel Adventure also makes the list as well as several titles published only in the U.K. to date.
Kate Kellaway reviews many picture books for the Guardian. There's a new Large family title by Jill Murphy (Mr. Large in Charge), Helen Oxenbury's illustrated version of Alice Through the Looking Glass, and Toby Forward's The Wolf's Story: What Really Happened to Little Red Riding Hood (ill. by Izhar Cohen).
