Notable Books of 2005

Somehow I missed the New York Times roundup, "Notable Books of 2005," this Sunday. (Thanks to a child_lit member for the link!)

Several of my personal favorites are on the list including Rick Riordan's The Lightning Thief, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Jon Agee's Terrific, and Mini Grey's Traction Man is Here!

I still haven't read Mordicai Gerstein's The Old Country, but it is on the top of "to read" list.
