Which literary heroine?

Via Liz B. (A Chair, a Fireplace and a Tea Cozy) and Gail Gauthier, the Which Classic Female Literary Heroine Are You quiz? Let's just say, I'm happier with this result than the one Gail got. (Beth, from Little Women? I'm sorry, Gail!)

I feel somehow I'm not in the demographic for this quiz, but I took it anyway to the best of my ability... and I also got Beth March from Little Women.

I am addicted to these things, clearly. There is one somewhere around that tells you what your daemon is (cf His Dark Materials).

So if you're Beth, why is your graphic of Elizabeth Bennett ??

Apparently I'm Elizabeth too, which didn't really surprise me !

Hey Nick: These quizzes are fun anyway, arent' they? Beth is one of the more kindly characters--I suspect I wasn't Beth becuase of this :)

Thanks for the daemon tip! Posting now.

No, Gail got Beth. And, Nick. I was just saying, not very eloquently, I suppose(!), that I was happy to not be Beth, because Beth DIES.

Yikes. I'm Anna Karenina.

Nick--Which Cathy do you mean? I have an image of the horrible Cathy comic strip!

Leila--Okay. AK is worse than Beth. Please stay away from trains, I beg you!

Oh, Nick...You probably mean Catherine from Wuthering Heights. Again, that would be awful!
