Horror and Games

There are a couple of reviews available online today:

• Amanda Craig takes on horror titles for the Times. She reviews Joseph Delaney's The Spook's Secret (which has been renamed for the U.S. market--thanks, Michele!) and Darren Shan's Slawter (Book 2 in the Demonata series). I recently read the first book, Lord Loss, and I'm still deciding what I think about it.
• The Egypt Game is Book 7 in the Washington Post's summer reading series. The Egypt Game is one of my top ten favorite Middle Grade novels.
