Movies from Children's Books

You know that making movies from children's books is big business when MTV covers the story.

Shawn Adler lists the 10 children's books MTV thinks should be filmed next with explanations as to why. I must admit, their choices are pretty interesting.

Note: Unless you're a huge fan of MTV-style bumper music, turn the sound off before clicking over.

Ooh, I forgot to ask the MV Books authors if MTV had any mention of film/TV rights in their book/author contracts.

As per the MTV list:

Glad to see THE WESTING GAME listed first. However, they forget to mention that it HAS been made into a film.

I have yet to read The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray. I love POISON so much that I haven't let myself read another Cray novel yet.

I haven't read Cray yet either, but no really want to!

Funny re: Westing Game. Still, I think it could be made again. Love the Westing Game.
