Weekend Reviews (II)

Whew! That NYT Supplement was a big one. Now on to more of this weekend's reviews:

In the review-hybrid department, Amanda Craig talks to Helen Dunmore for the Times and reviews the third volume in her Ingo series, The Deep. (Note to self: Ingo and The Tide Knot will be my next choices for the Wicked Cool Overlooked Books series.)

Susan Perren reviews several new books for the Globe and Mail. Books include:
  • And the Train Goes..., by William Bee
  • Artic Adventures: Tales From the Lives of Inuit Artists, by Raquel Rivera, illustrated by Jirina Marton
  • The Jumbo Book of Space, by Cynthia Pratt Nicolson and Paulette Bourgeois, illustrated by Bill Slavin
  • Miskeen: The Dancing Horse, by Judy Andrekson, illustrated by David Parkins
  • Jack Plank Tells Tales, by Natalie Babbitt

Mary Hoffman reviews Zenith, by Julie Bertagna, for the Guardian.

More tomorrow...
