NBA Shortlists

The National Book Awards shortlists have been announced. In the Young People's Literature category, nominated books include:

• Sherman Alexie, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (on the TBR)
• Kathleen Duey, Skin Hunger: A Resurrection of Magic, Book One
• M. Sindy Felin, Touching Snow
• Brian Selznick, The Invention of Hugo Cabret (I like this one--haven't reviewed it.)
• Sara Zarr, Story of a Girl (I loved Story of a Girl! Go, Sara Zarr!)
