Poetry Friday: A small celebration

Tomorrow is the last day of classes in Smalltown before the winter holidays.

One of the very best things about the winter holidays is the sudden opportunity to read a few books just for fun. (The two books pictured here sit waiting for me.)

In honor of the upcoming frivolity, today's Poetry Friday entry is a children's poem--"A Little Book," by Ruth Lilly.

read the rest of the poem here at Poetry Foundation.

Woo Hoo! It's reading time. What's on your list for the upcoming week (or weeks)?
