Not surprisingly, it's a slow weekend for the weekend reviews. Still, I'm glad I popped in to see what's out there this weekend. Here's what I've found:
Meghan Cox Gurdon recommends Angela and the Baby Jesus, by Frank McCourt, in The Wall Street Journal.
Susan Perren reviews children's holiday books in the Globe and Mail.
Karyn Saemann reviews children's books with lots of snow for The Capital Times. (Smalltown got hit AGAIN with another snowstorm. I don't miss it!)
In this week's Not-a-Review category: Charlotte Cripps talks to Michael Rosen for the Independent.
Katie Haegele reviews Nick Hornby's Slam for the Philadelphia Inquirer.
In this week's extremely rare about children's books review, Ann Martin considers British Children's Fiction in the Second World War, by Owen Dudley Edwards, in the Scotsman.
Mary Harris Russell doesn't take a break and is in with reviews of six new children's books for the Chicago Tribune.
Stay safe on the roads out there!
