The May Edge of the Forest will be up on Friday. Here's a preview of what's in the issue:
- An interview with Brandon Mull, by Becky Laney
- An interview with Elizabeth C. Bunce, by Julie M. Prince
- Prom books with Little Willow
- Our blogging writer is none other than Linda Urban (also interviewed by Julie) who just won a Cybil in the Middle Grade fiction category for A Crooked Kind of Perfect
- Candice Ransom's fabulous A Backward Glance column
And in June? We'll be featuring an interview by Carrie Jones with Dar Williams!
Speaking of June...If you have a great feature or column idea (A Day in the Life, In the Backpacks, Kid Picks), please do let me know. For feature pieces, I'd welcome short articles on summer books, beach books, books for summer vacation. I'm up for anything! Just send me an e-mail and we'll talk.

Very excited for that Dar Williams interview. :)
Wow, sounds like a fantastic line-up! I'll have to stop back after Friday to check it out!
So, I’m stopping by and let you know that I’ve got a list of several free books up for grabs in my May Pay It Forward Book Exchange. Come on over if you’re interested in entering to win or even hosting your own PIF giveaway this month!
Kelly-
I would love to do a feature piece on summer reading. Maybe something about how to keep kids reading during the summer? I usually hand out a similar article to my parents at the end of the year, so I would love to revise it and make it suitable for TEofF

Blair: I am too!
Thanks, Overwhelmed. Maybe I'll get my act together and do PIF too. I love participating.
Sarah: You're on! For June, pretty please. 5/25 deadline? Not like you don't have enough to do for the rest of the year :)
Sounds great!
Would you like a Teen Picks list of books they can't wait to read once finals/classes are over and they can tackle "unassigned" reading? Email me.
