Thanks to Anastasia Suen and Kids Lit for links to excellent summer reading lists at abebooks and Scholastic
The abebooks list is really very good and gives a fan a lot to think about as do all top-X lists. (I always wonder why Julie Andrew's funny and charming "The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles" is never included.) The Scholastic site is excellent as well with a very useful section for kids who read above their grade level.
Today's my last day of classes and I'm looking forward to reading, writing, and working on my open-source webnovel "Reinaissance Faire"
Speaking of the last day of school...Does anyone know of any good books on this (joyous) topic?
