The Fuchsia Fairy
This news item about an exhibition in Devon, England of Cicely Mary Barker's Flower Fairy drawings brought back so many memories.
I adored Barker's flower fairy books because of her beautiful, fanciful drawings. My favorite has always been the fuchsia fairy, but she drew so many gorgeous fairies for her many books. You can look them up by letter, color, fairy type (elf, infant, fairy, etc.), and season at the official Flower Fairy website, a wonderful resource.
They should add a "Which Flower Fairy are you?" quiz!
