So many great blogs about kid's lit (and YA) to read! I recently had to update the ol' blogroll. Check out A Chair, A Fireplace and a Tea Cozy, Book Buds, Mad Chatter, Reading to My Kid (who has a post about something that has always traumatized me--"Arthur's Nose" and its implications), and Wayfarers all.
Also, Nancy J. Keane has created a wonderful resource with booklists, booktalks, and other useful information. I found this site particularly helpful when beginning a search for kid's books about Russia. Take a look at the ATN Reading Lists on Keane's site.
After a hot, summery afternoon at the town pool, it's a stormy evening here in Smalltown. Just perfect for reading and writing.
